We're JDD, a UK-based commercial furniture manufacturer with a friendly and honest approach to business and design. Since 2010, we've designed and built imaginative, practical furniture that enhances workspaces. From imagination to installation and aftercare, everything is handled in-house, ensuring projects run smoothly and our clients feel supported every step of the way. Our skilled team of makers, upholsterers, and designers craft meeting pods, soft seating, and bespoke solutions that bring people together. Great furniture shouldn't be complicated. Workplace Dining for a Sustainable Future
Working in partnership with Alpha, we were delighted to support the transformation of a renewable energy company's Perth office canteen into a space that feels as inviting as a café while offering the practicality required for a busy workplace.

We have included several different areas in one space, offering ways to use our furniture to create boundaries without physical walls. Casual seating and breakout areas, planters used as dividers, multi-functional sofa dens, and new portable meeting rooms are just a few ways we divided our space.

The JDD brand is growing in popularity, along with our reputation for honesty, transparency, and high quality at affordable prices. Following our recent relocation and renovation of our London showroom, we have been working to open a new showroom in the heart of Glasgow and is the ideal blend of history and modern innovation.

We’re proud to announce that we at JDD (Joint Design Direction) have been awarded the Environmental & Social Value (ESV) Certification, a new standard developed by Made in Britain in collaboration with MAP UK & International.

Norah to Nora: Updating a classic
With workspaces being open plan and privacy at a premium, solutions were needed to bring a sense of solitude and silence back to the office. 2011 saw the rise of Norah.
We had the pleasure of visiting What Plastics for a company tour and to make our own recycled plastic panel. For those who don't know, What Plastics are transforming discarded materials into high-quality, 100% recycled surface sheets, giving plastic a second chance and making it something to be proud of.
